Attended by hundreds of representatives, geologists, and experts, The Annual Geoscience Exploration Seminar (AGES) was held at the Alice Springs Convention Centre on the 5th and 6th of April.

While exhibiting at the seminar, Pump and Power had the opportunity to network with familiar colleagues and share ideas on the discovery and development of the Northern Territory’s minerals and energy resources. The AGES highlighted many new and exciting mining projects in the Northern Territory that promise to grow the region and local primary sector offering employment opportunities and boosting our economy.

Arafura Resources, Core Lithium, Northern Mining, Newmont Australia, KGL Resources, and Thor Mining were a few of the amazing organisations that joined us at the expo and provided incredible insight into the mining industry and technical updates on successful exploration programs; including new data releases and exploration concepts from the Northern Territory Geological Survey.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the workshops and talks while showcasing our construction, agriculture, solar bore pumping, power generation, and generator hire range.

Several of our employees attended, accompanied by the star attraction; Tom the Olive Python who seemed too focused on taking photos with his biggest fans.

Held in conjunction with the Mining Services Expo, the AGES was a great event organised by the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade that we can’t wait to attend next year (hopefully joined by Tom once again)!
