The Parrtjima Light Festival has lit up the Red Centre once again with 10 incredible nights of celebration and drawing thousands of people into the Northern Territory.
Pump and Power has proudly worked with Parrtjima for another fantastic year by providing power generation for the festival in its entirety. Our generators powered the stages for moving live music, riveting cultural talks, mesmerising light shows, and the diverse food market.
The thematic focus of this year’s festival was dedicated to our place in the cosmos and our relationship with our environment which is the Arrernte Country. Against the stunning backdrop of the MacDonnell Ranges, Aboriginal artists celebrated Indigenous culture through a vast array of spectacles, music, and workshops.
The action-packed festival could not have been done without our exceptional electricians and very own Rachel Hansen; ensuring the show could go on with daily maintenance runs and organising tricky hire logistics with Jason Hansen.
With over 23,000 attendees, we are very excited to bring another Parrtjima Festival to life in 2023 and hope to see you there!
